JAMIE LEE WIESNER
Sales Associate
I am a self taught artist who loves trying new techniques, and new forms of art. From an early age I was encouraged, family life put everything on hold for a number of years. Ten kids later (most out of the house) I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things and exploring all forms of art. My wish is to bring smiles, happiness, and wonder back into peoples everyday life with my art.

TARA GYURKOVITS
Earth8Bound Owner
Thank you for taking the time to explore my jewelry and read my bio. I was raised in Kimberley and Victoria, BC. From a young age, I had a love of the outdoors and nature. My family loved to go for walks and hikes, bike rides and rollerblading. We spent much of our time working in the garden, shopping in nurseries, and beach combing. I enjoyed arts and crafts, always enrolling in any classes I could to feed my creative soul. After moving to Calgary in 1998, I tried a few different jobs from office work to security, but nothing seemed to be the right fit. I started my first landscaping job in 2004. I knew that I had found my true calling and decided to make it my career. Finally, a job that combined something I truly loved and had interest in with the necessity of income. I felt so lucky to be paid to do a job that was so enjoyable and brought out the earth goddess in me!Â
That winter, I enrolled at Olds College to the apprenticeship program for Landscape Gardening. After I received my Red Seal Journeyperson certificate, I furthered my education by getting a Production Horticulture and Arborist diploma, as well as my Certified Horticultural Technician certificate and Licenced Pesticide Applicator certificate. I am currently working on my Masters of Horticulture. In August of 2015, my life changed forever when my beautiful baby boy Cedar was born. During my maternity leave, I pondered what to do when my leave was over. Like many mothers, I did not want to work just to put my son in daycare. So, I searched within myself and thought about what I really love, what I could do from home, and what would be beneficial to make an income while caring for my child. While I was searching, I made a few different nature-themed jewelry pieces for my friends and family. They were all blown away by what I had made. After much encouragement and support, I started creating more and more. People wanted to buy them!! I have been making jewelry now for a year. My creativity keeps leading me to new places and new styles.

CINDY GONZALEZ
Jewelry & Interior Designer
The fondest memory of my childhood was the day I got to demonstrate my interest in drawing, painting and coloring with mom’s red lipstick on the white walls of our home. As I grew older this passion never changed but I did learn that walls where not the best surface to express my artistic skills on.
I was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved with my family to Canada in 2003. I’m fluent in English and Spanish. After obtaining my High School Diploma I attended the Fine Arts Diploma program at Red Deer College. In this program I got the opportunity to take multiple live drawing, painting, sculpting, ceramic, printmaking and design classes which helped further develop my artistic skills and inspired me to continue my education in the Interior Design field .

In my spare time I enjoy crafting quality jewelry.

JENNIFER HARDY
Fox in the hole design Owner
I'm a full time graphic designer and love what i do, but over the last few years I've found myself yearning to create something with my own hands, rather then on a computer screen.Â
I dabbled in crochet and sewing but wasn't finding my niche. It wasn't until I discovered hand embroidery at the beginning of 2016 that I felt I'd finally found a medium that allowed me the freedom of expression I'd been searching for.and  Fox In The Hole was born.
Over the past two years it's become the little space in which I can create things that I find beautiful with full freedom of expression. Not only do I find joy in the work itself but I marvel at the positive impact stitching has had on my mental health. I've suffered my entire life from depression and anxiety and when I'm stitching I can feel all my nervous energy melt away with each French knot and stem stitch. It's one of the best therapies I've found!Â
I'm so grateful to have discovered this art and all the benefits it's brought into my life. As well as allowing me to create art that I hope will be treasured by their new owners for years to come.

JENNIFER STABLES
B.F.A, B.Ed. Artist, Educator, and Author
My name is Jennifer Stables, and I live just south of Calgary, Alberta in the town of Okotoks. I have two sons and a loving Scottish husband. Through my business, Jenny Dale Designs, I create whimsical, loving characters and poetry to adorn children's rooms, nurseries, or any special nook and cranny of you home. My work has been featured on ProjectNursery.com, Okotoks Living Magazine, Castle Foundations, and Oopsy Daisy Fine Art for Kids.
In 2001 I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting, and went on to teach art to children at the Visual Arts Centre in Montreal. Finding so much joy in teaching, I decided to return to Calgary and pursue Early Childhood Education. In 2005 I completed my Bachelor of Education, and have been working as a kindergarten and art teacher in Calgary for over a decade. After my first son was born, I felt inspired to return to creating my own art. I have held several solo exhibitions and sold thousands of art prints to customers worldwide. I continue to teach children as an Artist in Residence at local schools.
Although I have already published my writing in academic journals, my hope is to one day publish a book of poetry for children. I hope you enjoy my creations!
